FAQ
How is FarmLink's Kampot Pepper different?
- First of all, our pepper IS real Kampot Pepper. Quality products are often victim to counterfeiting and today more pepper is sold under the name "Kampot Pepper" than the province actually produces. Because FarmLink works day to day with the
farmers in Kampot, we can guarantee the origin of
our products.
- Not all Kampot Pepper is first grade quality. Peppercorns received from the farms are not all acceptable for our quality standards. FarmLink post-process peppercorns received from the farms. Our peppercorns are sorted by hand, corn by corn. Storage conditions are also extremely important in order to preserve the delicate aroma of Kampot Pepper. FarmLink's pepper is packaged in Nylon/PE air-tight plastic bags and stored in Carton boxes.
How should I store my peppercorns?
The aroma of peppercorns is altered mainly by two factors: light and air. For optimum storage, corns must be stored in dark sealed container. Additionally, peppercorns should be stored in a dry and cool place.
